The new Sabah Health Director, Dr. Rose Nani Mudin did not undergo the mandatory 14-day quarantine upon returning from Kuala Lumpur.
This afternoon, Dr. Rose was seen paying a courtesy visit to the Chief Minister of Sabah, Datuk Seri Hajiji Noor at the Sabah Administrative Centre (PPNS).

Nevertheless, Sabah’s Official Covid-19 spokesperson, Datuk Seri Masidi Manjun previously mandated a 14-day quarantine for individuals entering Sabah.
inisabahbah.com yesterday also reported that the entourage of the Minister of Rural Development, Datuk Dr. Abd Latiff Ahmad received a special exemption to bypass the 14-day quarantine.
The exposé caused public uneasiness and anger.
Response on social media noted that Sabahans felt that the Minister should undergo the quarantine before touring Sabah, or postpone the trip.
Following that, the Ministry in a media statement this afternoon announced that the trip was postponed.
