DAP veteran, Lim Kit Siang has admitted on Friday that Pakatan Harapan (PH) may cooperate with long-time enemy, UMNO after the 15th General Election (GE15).
Speaking to reporters at Tanjong where his daughter Lim Hui Ying is contesting, Kit Siang said that should a PH-UMNO cooperation materialise, reforms will be guaranteed.
“We will cooperate on conditions of reforms. We reject corruption, reject abuse of power and we want a multiracial Malaysia.”
On the issue of cooperating with Gabungan Parti Sarawak (GPS), Kit Siang said it is a matter of argument before and after election.
For the record, GPS had stated that it is uncomfortable cooperating with PH because of DAP’s arrogance.
DAP had also on several occassions in the past hinted at a possible pact with UMNO after GE15.
Both Secretary General Anthony Loke and former Secretary General Lim Guan Eng had issued similar statements.
