DAP’s Kota Kinabalu Member of Parliament, Chan Foong Hin has dropped a bombshell, admitting that his party Chairman, Lim Guan Eng met with Bersatu’s Datuk Seri Hajiji Noor for negotiations some time last year.
In a statement released on Thursday, Datuk Junz Wong who is Warisan’s Vice President said that PH betrayed the Opposition the minute PH signed the Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with UMNO’s Datuk Seri Ismail Sabri Yaakob.
Junz added that DAP went a step further when its then-Secretary General, Lim Guan Eng flew to Sabah to negotiate another state-level with Hajiji.
Answering the Junz’s revelations, DAP’s Chan Foong Hin admitted that the meetings and negotiations between Guan Eng and Hajiji did happen.
“Sometime last year after the federal level MOU was inked, the then DAP secretary-general Lim Guan Eng was invited to meet Hajiji and Lim agreed to the meeting as a matter of courtesy.”
DAP is currently under tremendous pressure, after it came to light that PH received hundreds of millions of ringgit from the Federal Government, after inking the MOU.
In November last year, sources in PKR also revealed that DAP was behind Sabah PH’s push for a state-level MOU with GRS.
Dato’ Azis Jamman who is Warisan’s Youth Chief in a statement yesterday questioned if the MOU was for the people, or was PH after the funding.
