A former Parti Gagasan Rakyat Sabah who lost his deposit in the 2020 Sabah State Election has joined DAP.
Lim Guan Eng who is DAP’s National Chairman via a Facebook post today said, DAP welcomes Wong Su Vui with open arms.
Su Vui is a former Vice President of Parti Gagasan Rakyat Sabah.
He contested in Sri Tanjong in the 2020 Sabah State Election but lost his deposit, after securing only 0.8% or 117 of the total votes cast.
Warisan cabdidate, Justin Wong Yung Bin won the seat with 76.58% or 11,150 votes of the total votes cast.
Despite welcoming a senior leader from another party, Guan Eng claimed that DAP is the only party in the country who opposes the party-hopping culture.
